Malibu 6/16 Report
Slow day in Malibu. The winning fish was a 5lb Sheepshead if that says anything. I had no fish to weigh but I did manage 14 razorback sharks, 6 sand dabs, 2 octopuss, and a heck of a good time.
Launched into smallish 2-3 foot shorebreak with a nice lull for a dry take off. Fished all day for the above. Came back to the launch to find 4-5 foot shorebreak. Yikes! Made it in dry, which was better than most could report. There were yard sales everywhere. Razorback shark. http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w...libuShark2.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w...libuShark1.jpg My new ride. Notice the nice graphics. http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w...ayakSetup1.jpg Here are some shots of the launch, courtesy of Charles Volkens. http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w...hunaLaunch.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w...unaLaunch2.jpg |

Davey,
Like the graphics on the kayak and report :thumbup Glad you had a good time. That shark looks like it had some pull to it by the size of it. I'm really digging my Marauder also. Good speed, good handling, nice hatches, alot of storage, it's one really nice kayak. Talk to you soon, Perry |
