That's it!

This year long tournament is over. I hope they roll out the prizes pretty soon. It was really a lot of effort to catch up and pass Iceman and BOK. Thanks to the participants and organizer. I am sorry more people didnt join in on a regular basis. It was a challenge but motivating.

Congrats Will, you were on fire. I need to change things up and make this a little more interesting to more than a handful.

Easy to say hard to do.

12 months of trying to come up with spotties, sandies, calico, and LMB will test your mettle.

And the reward--you get to pat yourself on the back.

To be real honest with you Will, I really prefer the scenery of LJ, I have a great deal of respect for bass and bass fisherman. I do still enjoy bassing it up, but the pull of a big YT is just way, way, way more appealing to me.

I will be in WCB for sure this year regardless of wether I even can catch em or not it should be fun and it is way easier than getting up at 4 every few mornings and hitting LJ before work! Looking forward to the camraderie and fun!

I am gunning for ya Will!!!:D

When you get up at 4 what time do you launch and about what time come in? I would like to get out there for some early fishing but lack the motivation to get up. What gets you going? The thought of those yellow tail?

Re: That's it!

When I launch it's usually 4:30ish give or take 15 minutes...and I don't hve to be at work until 10ish so I usually land around 915 and just haul ass...and it is definitely a long, long day as I do not get off of work until 730pm. As far as motivation to get out there.....just catch one 25-40lb after making that early morning wake up and you will no longer need coffee (as much). Once you get one like that waking up is the easiest part and the adrenaline pumps pretty heavy all day long as you sit there and smile knowingly and remembering every second of the fight!!!
