I have a Lowrance Combo unit on my boat and love it.
Mine has the ability to display many split screen combinations (map, GPS, Sonar, etc...) and customize what each screen shows (water temp, depth, heading, speed, etc...).
I have no complaints about a single unit and would do it the same way if I had to install another unit.
