Swampchicken will become famous soon enough
Default NB report w/pics

Had a little window of opportunity to get out last week and fish Newport Beach until sunset. Launched at about 5pm and fished until about 9ish. Headed out of the harbor and south a bit toward the kelp beds. Fished the Alumina pretty hard loaded with 8lb maxima.

Met up with a couple of friends down the way and proceeded to whack the Sandies and Calicos.

Fished one of my favorite baits, Kreepy Krawlers, loaded up with a nice coat of UniButter. If you haven't had a chance, butter up your favorite bait and give this stuff a shot. It really works well.

Here is a shot of one of the larger Sandies.
