Default Kayak crate

ok ,i really want a crate for storage and to add rod holders too, but................... the holding area in the rear is to small for a crate, i need help to figure a way to either rig a stand or legs to a crate, or even somewhere i can find a smaller crate

Hey bro,

I remember reading on the plastic navy site about a place that specializes in different size crates. Sorry that your gonna have to search the site but I know I saw it. I think it was in the general or rigging section.

I got mine from Office Depot for around $8. Got some pvc pipe from Home Depot
and took a hack saw to cut some pieces. Drilled some holes in them and fastened the tubes to the crate with tie wraps. Works great.

Gonnawin,
We have a page in the rigging section that shows how an angler adapted a crate to his tankwell using PVC feet. Here's the link http://www.allkayakfishing.com/rigged/crate.html

Hope this helps,
Perry
