Dana Point 7/27

After Piranah, Big O, and Seaslug decied the wind was too big on Thursday afternoon I came back and fished Friday AM. Live bait from 7-11am for 3 short WSB.

Vi, fishing dines, got two legal halis durning same time.

About 11 the wind came up and I went home.

At least you were able to get out. How the hali fishing been there as of late? Have you fished the harbor in the evenings there? Just Curious,

I have fished the harbor in the 2pm to 7pm time and it was fine. The breeze does usually pick up at 11am like everywhere on the water but many times it is just a breeze.

Perry, According to Yani, Dr. Vey pulled 3 halis 30 or more lbs. each outta the harbor this week. Vey is a great fisherman, and really good with plastics! That info was posted 7-25-07(Wednesday).See below!

I know of 3 over 30lb hallies
were caught in the marina
this week. Yani

Also, Viking took home a 25 incher yesterday,Saturday!

Looks like the hali bite is getting much better at Dana. Good to hear ya got out Steve. Gotta fish together again sometime.
