Huntington Harbor 2/20

Harbor has been super slow for me, but convenient to get out before going to work. Fished Wed,with Steve, the docks por nada. Paddled to the bridge this morning and worked the bay. Picked up one spottie on the blade. A little later and fish #2 got real heavy and took off. Backed off the drag hoping it was a big butt.........Still bit threw the 30# braid :evil: ........I'll never know.

chewed through huh? probably a 50# WSB.

I've caught leopards in there, but the spinner bait makes halibut more likely. It made a run and snapped its head a few times, was running a second time and just as it slowed and shook it's head the line went slack and looked bit through. The 50# HH WSB has been the star of a few day dreams though.
