What to do when the tournament is postponed???
We made our way over to Fiesta Island and found the spotties biting pretty good. I thought that the bite was going to be off due to the poor tides but that was not the case. Not a lot of size the biggest being 2.2# and my bag of 5 being a little over 8#. When I left @ 11:00 we had about 50 fish between the 3 of us. It rained only for about 5 minutes max and the wind was never more than 10 mph. To bad the tourny was called i think it would have been good @ Oside. And for those of you who were wondering about Oside here's what it looked like @ 12:00 as I took the family to Disneyland. Ken Team Dana Point Jet Ski

Re: What to do when the tournament is postponed???
Good times Ken, I had a great time in mission. I did feel a little ripped off not able to fish the tournament with conditions the way they were. It was good to get in a new area in mission and catch some fish. Great spottie pix, like the reels. I'm glade I was on the water and not at home with clear skies. Can't wait to get back on the water. I do believe everything happens for a reason, and my not agree but still respect the tournament being canceled.

Re: What to do when the tournament is postponed???
when I woke up to blue skies I was a bit upset with the weatherman. I went by OEX Oceanside and stopped by the harbor, it was a little blown out, but it could have been fished.
Problem with the weatherman getting it wrong is it could have gone the other way just as easily. We have the responsibility to watch over the least experienced going out. No doubt in my mind that with a similar forecast none of the harbor and bay tournaments would be postponed. Nice Spotties! Oceanside about noon

I totally agree with you Andy and the call to postpone the tournament. The call was justified and warranted with the forecast. You have the safety and welfare of everyone to look out for!!! As for the fishing, it was fun. See you on the 13th

Ken, please be a little more subtle when promoting Ardent reels--those pictures are really tacky!!

Re: What to do when the tournament is postponed???
I had a guide trip Friday and fished Mission bay. We too had very great fishing (I even tried to get the tournament moved instead of postponed because it was so good).
Got another trip Wednesday, think I will take this guy to that area since you guys did so well.
