That kayak is a big step up from shore fishing, but it is a bit of a toy kayak. Depending on how and where you want to fish this may or may not work for you. I would not do more than drop in and fish outings in sheltered waters. If it is in your budget look for something more along proven fishing kayaks. see what every one else in your area is using.
Always better to learn from others mistakes rather than your own.

I have seen these launched next to my store and would not want to paddle one. Check out the mixed reviews, as long as you know what you are getting, fun, but not a serious fishing kayak.

i'm going to be using this in this brackish water lake. you can catch inshore gamefish in there. such as snook, tarpon, cuda, jack crevalle, etc. occasonily i'll take it into a lake filled with bass by my house
