Robert has a spectacular aura about
Default Newport Report

Jackie, Bob, & I met up with Perry at NAC/North Star Beach. Jackie, Bob, And I have never launched or fished out of there before. We didn't go far before we were catching fish. None of them were tournament legal though.

We fished the back bay on out to the P.C.H. bridge. We met up with Chuck
AKA "Incredible". It was nice meeting and fishing with you Chuck.

We fished West of the bridge in the harbor for a while. It was really slow.
One here. One there.

The boat traffic was starting to pick up, so we moved into the back bay.

We fished the first basin East of the bridge for a while. There was some kind of fuel on top of the water. It was pretty nasty.

We moved out into the channel.

Then we fished our way back to North Star Beach. The bite was really slow by now. We called it a day around Noon.

After we loaded up we went to Zooby's Dry Dock for some of the best fish and chips that any of us could remember. It was a fun day on the water.
We had a few fish to pull on. Even thought they weren't the size that we were looking for. The P.N. Tournament is going to be some tough fishing.
Perry, Jackie, Bob, and Chuck it was a lot of fun fishing with you guys!

Robert

Hey Robert,

Thanks for the invite. We had a great time checking out NP. We would have never found the launch site if we were not following you.

I fished a lot out of NAC last year and found a lot of short halibut at the Dover sections. The basin you are talking about has croaker and halibut and some spotted bay bass.
