Default Perris Report

Well.........not quite the fishing my son and I expected. Thought maybe the bass would be "home" ...........so we launched our tandem kayak off sail cove in the PM. As soon as we launched the wind comes up of course and had a hard time getting the right drift with our dropshots. No bass, no crappie, not even a bluegill today but my son did manage 2 nice holdover trout 2.75 and 3lbs on the purple and black roboworm in 10ft of water. Wind got worse by 5, so off the water. Dock fishing seemed good for smaller gills and crappie........did not see any decent bass being caught today. Maybe the AM was better.

Of course a woman's mind is cleaner than a man's................she's changing it all the time !!!!

Default Re: Perris Report

NF,
As always, Thanks for the report. The tourney was fun and I put up a post in the bass forum for it. The next round is at Newport Dunes ina few months. Plenty of time to scope out some areas
