Thumbs up Hobie Mirage Revolution photos

I had a few photos of one of Hobie Kayaks latest models sent to us, and I would like to share the pics with you. I have not tried this model out yet, but future plans to try out the Hobie Kayaks fleet are underway here by myself and Robert. If you would like to see the page for the Hobie Kayaks Revolution, please follow the link http://www.hobiecat.com/kayaking/models_revolution.html

Happy Pedaling,

Perry

The revolution looks like a great boat. Shorter than the adventure but a little bit longer than the outback. It looks like a great all around boat.

If anybody has one I would like to try it out. Would like to do a trade for a day, you could use my adventure or outback with turbo fins and Ill use your revolution.

Take it easy!

I tried the Revolution out. It was a nice kayak. A bit faster than the '07 Outback. In my opinion it would be better suited to a person under 200 lbs.
I weigh 250 and bring the kitchen sink with me when I go out of La Jolla. The '07
Outback is more suited to my fishing style. I would encourage everyone to try the Hobie kayaks out. They are awesome!

Having your feet raised to pedal like that looks a little oncomfy and tipsy to me...am I mistaken? (Though I quite understand the hands free benefit of pedaling.)

Robert - I weigh in same range and have all the heavy gear with me including bait tank. Wny is the O7 better for us than the 06? I am down on the wide flat area all the time anyway so I don't see the advantage that the new bottom gives except for a lightweight.

I'm headed to Southwind Kayak Center in a couple of weeks to rent and fish the Revolution for a day. I called to verify they had it in stock for rental. Maybe you can try it there.
