Question about Reds??
Reds following the teaser never seen this behavior in reds what kinda rig would you use as a teaser for them??

Where I am at Ft. Myers/Lee County area I use Yozuri Crystal Minnow. Red head with white body. 3 1/2" 1/4oz on a 7' light action rod w/10lb test. I don't use anything but 10lb on inshore fishing and none of that braided line. Personally I don't use teasers but when I see the reds tailing I cast to them and they hook. My 2 cents.

i can never get tailing reds to hookup
i mean i have but only a few times i just have never heard of the teaser deal thanks

Really I have had just the opposite happen, if it is not tailing they never bite for me. I have been on fishing charters and this is how the guide will bring fish to you using teasers. To me its not right. Have you tried little blue crabs? My friends have good luck with those, i just get bitten...

haha yeah i catch reds in the creek mouth all the time with blue crabs!! every time i try it i get some big boys!! but the tailing i have no luck with sight fishing is just a blast to me i wish i could perfect it more!
