I called Hummingbird and they told me in a few words tuff luck go buy a new antenna foe a 100.00 I will never buy another Hummingbird product. Default Re: Warning

My GARMIN result was the opposite - my plug was corroded (my fault of course) and they just sent me a new cable postpaid - no charge!

There is a slight possibility of wiring around the pin if you want to show me sometime. I hope to be at DP tomorrow (Saturday) am with Piranha but have not had confirmation yet.

Smile Re: Warning

Wbrewski,
I've heard of similar situations with Humminbird a few times on the boards. After my DX200 developed a few problems after a short time, I switched brands and started using Lowrence/Eagle products. I've also heard really good things about Garmin's support if one needs it also, and everyone whom I know who uses their products likes them. JMHO,
Perry
