Pretty wild!!

Growing up, I had many saltwater aquariums. I made the mistake of placing a small 5" octopus, that I caught diving, in one of my tanks one evening.

I woke up the next morning and the octopus had eaten every other fish, crab, snail, etc... in the tank.

That afternoon we had mini tako poke for lunch!

They are one of the coolest creatures in the ocean.

Further north you get them up to over 90 pounds. Diving one day off Pismo Beach I saw an eye that was larger than a quarter when I went looking under a rock. I quit looking there quickly.

Piranha,
Thanks for the post . The video makes me wonder what those Humbolt Squid eat when they move into an area, as big as they are. I've seen the photos of 4 foot squid, but always wondered if they are like bass and such, how big of a meal will they go after? Anyone read anything??
