is the malibu x-factor and the ocean kayaks made from the same plastic?
have small crack in malibu and shop has filler material for ocean brand but not malibu. will it work if i melt some into crack on my malibu?

Yes and no,. they are slightly different however in most cases you can use one to weld another as long as they both ar ein good shape (Oils are not dried out form UV)

got filler material from malibu.
easy fix once you learn how. used wood burner and it worked great.
