Robert has a spectacular aura about
Default New Rudder

I got tired of my Tarpon 140 "weather cocking" on me. If I ran into any wind, current, or chop, I sometimes would have to make 20+ paddle strokes on the left side in a row to keep the yak going in a semi straight line. If I was paddeling in glass like conditions everything was fine. Enough is enough! I picked up a Feathercraft rudder kit from KFS. It was pretty easy to install. I did it over a couple of nights after work. The kit was pretty much complete, minus a couple of screws that I had to get from the local hardware store. I think it turned out pretty well. It is a quality rudder. I can't wait to try it out this Sunday at Tidelands.

Congrats,
It should help with them drifts also later. When were in SD by the point, you'll see what the OK M2 does with a sidewind. Thankfully I'll be on the chute then or you would see me doing donuts with wind vs current.
