Alex from DAM Fishing Tackle getting ready to release a sub-legal White SeaBass that inhabits the waters in the Dana Point area heavily in the bay. Though called a "White Seabass" they are actually members of the "Croaker" family.
NOTE: Though this is a small specimen common in the bays and harbors, getting one in the 30+ pounds range is common during the right time of the year off the West Coast of the USA. I believe the largest taken off the California Coast on a kayak was 70 something pounds, and it gave the angler quite a sleigh-ride. That was one BIG fish.
