Amanda with a couple of legal California Halibut caught while kayak fishing at Cabrillo Beach, San Pedro California. Cabrillo Beach offers a chance for bass and halibuts when kayak fishing or float tubing alike, with most of the launches inside a harbor and very easy. Bait can be made at the fishing pier which is inside the harbor by where you can launch your kayak or float tube. The fishing can vary, but where there is a decent halibut bite, you can usually score some pretty big ones on live bait.
