Robert Sez I caught this juvenile White SeaBass while kayak fishing in Dana Point Harbor. I was using a Shimano Sedona 4000, a Shakespear Ugly Stick Intercoastal Rod, 12# test Berkley Trilene Big Game. For a lure I used a 4" Storm Wild Eye Shad. I would cast it out, let it sink to the bottom and reel it in slowly.

Believe it or not the fish did give me a small sleigh ride. I can't wait to get one from a big Yellowtail or White Seabass. White Sea Bass are wonderfully colored with vertical stripes on their sides, and they are one of our favorite kayak fishing gamefish on the West Coast.
