John Said: I Hooked into this 35lb Yellow Tail in Carlsbad, California when kayak fishing. And believe it or not this fish hit a 2lb Bonita that stole my Greenback! I couldn't believe it!
Note: Now that's what we call a hitch-hiker! When the yellows are feeding, anything they think they can chase down and eat is fair game for them. Spanish Mackerel are one of the prime baits for them at LaJolla Shores, and a nice 2lb bonito swimming around would be a treat.
