SemperFishin' told us: First day on ocean with my youngest daughter, eight year old Shelby Maznio from Lake Forest,CA. We were using a Frenzy Minnow on 6lb P-Line on a Shimano Sahara on a Castaway Rod - Light Action. Trolled (powered by dad) in front of Doheney for about 1hr before Hook-Up! Honestly thought we had "gathered kelp" until she reassured me "it's a fish"! 5 Minutes later, the picture tells the story. It weighed in at 4.5lbs. Yakfishin' - always fun...
