| Val caught this beautiful halibut in about 50' of water off Malibu Beach. She was using a Calstar Graphiter 700L rod with a Quantum Big Iron 425 CX reel with 20 lb Berkley Big Game line, and was using a live smelt for bait. She was fishing from an Ocean Kayak Scupper Classic. It is her biggest halibut to date. Nice fish Val!! |
