My truck has a fifth wheel trailer hitch in the bed making it difficult to carry my Kayaks in the bed. I devised this simple solution. The front rest on the 2 x 6 and the tailgate with a "pool noodle" supports the rear of the kayak. Loads and unloads easily. Hope this helps....
