Wayne Sez: Hi here are some photos of my cobra explorer. I hope they are of some use to someone out there
The best tip I found is try to keep it simple. Thanks good fishing. Wayne
Yes, and Thanks for the photos Wayne. When rigging a kayak for kayak fishing, we sometimes forget to keep it simple. The Cobra Explorer is one of Cobra Kayaks oldest models of kayaks used, and was around when kayak fishing really started taking off in popularity. They are smaller kayaks perfect for smaller stature individuals, and can be rigged for kayak fishing pretty easy because of the deck layout. To see reviews of Cobra Kayaks posted by fellow anglers, please see our Cobra Kayaks Reviews page in our kayak reviews section. |
Here is a nice photo showing the lines of the hull. While Cobra Kayaks have progressed as the years have gone by, alot of the Cobra line still uses very similar hull lines. |
Here is a photo of the tankwell with a ice cooler sitting in t sideways. Some kayak anglers will ad a pump to the cooler, and make a home made powered bait tank to keep live bait alive for a day of kayak fishing, especially in saltwater. |
There is often a factory installed "A" hatch under where the net is sitting in the photo. You can gain access to the inside of the hull and store items in there. |
