Rubbermaid 18 Quart food bin with lid (Container Store) Drill ¼ inch holes at desired water level at back of tank for cascade-drainage barely visible in photos). Rule 360 gph bilge pump. Toggle switch is placed in small plastic box flip lid box (art store) with toggle protruding thru hole drilled in lid. Switch wires protrude thru holes drilled in side of box. All holes sealed with flexible 3M 5200. Rubber toggle booty covers toggle. Toggle box 3M 5200 glued to top of Rule Pump. Adjustable flow valve with ¾ inch nipple inserted thru drilled hole near tank bottom, and sealed with Marine Goop. (Flow valve is not required, although some have reported full flow is too fast for bait.) Hose is ¾ inch. At top of hose loop is a plastic garden hose back flow preventer, whose top edge is at desired water level (when pump is off).

This prevents backflow thru pump during off cycle. End-of-day drain is a garden hose ball valve attached to ¾ inch elbow near pump bottom. Rule Pump is located over a scupper hole. Bungie cords thru tank handles anchor tank to yak. Splash guard is made by cutting out center of lid, leaving about a two inch rim, and reattaching it’s center using plastic ties as hinges. Tank Lid is 3M 5200 glued to tank with plastic ties for added holding. Velcro is used to hold hinged lid in place. Battery is inside yak, with wires with marine spade connectors protrude thru hole (3M 5200 sealed) behind seat. Very light, small, portable, holds about 3.5 gallons.
